Interior designer Chloe Vestey understands firsthand how exceptional design finds its inspiration in nature.
Having grown up in harmony with horses and competing together in competitions, she experienced how natures
confidence and strength can be passed on to us.
A ‘Colporteur’ was perhaps Europe’s earliest traveling book seller, transporting manuscripts by horsepower from our
towns fledgling presses to the increasingly literate and curious rural populations. Overtime this helped transport Europe
from the Middle-ages to the Early Modern Period.
Shouldering knowledge and responsibility is familiar to Ludwig Reiter, where traditional craft and sustainable
practice is paramount.
Our Colportage shoulder bag combines the finest Sports Nappa and Saddle leathers in a minimalistic construction, creating
a uniquely elegant model and a testament to those enterprising ‘Reiters’ who moved knowledge across our borders.
